calebs coffee athens goodbye new orleans

Thank you, Athens, Ohio

Caleb's Coffee is ceasing operations after nearly five years of service to the community and the world as I relocate to New Orleans, Louisiana. The delicious  coffees may be gone, but feel free to get in touch with any questions about coffee, sustainable business practices, or other topics. Caleb's Coffee was made possible by Ohio's cottage food production laws, which allow you to produce and sell certain nonperishable food items from your home with minimal startup cost. You can make your own business too.

Specialty Beans

Coffee is like fine wine: each different region, even each farm from year to year, has its own unique flavors. Specialty coffees are those with the best qualities, and the finest beans were the foundation of Caleb's Coffee. A rotating selection of single-origins from around the world was offered based on seasonality, along with artisan blends for a more consistent choice. All coffees were responsibly sourced and sustainably grown by small farms and co-ops around the world. Whole beans were available at Busy Day Market and Dale's Valero convenience store, and brewed coffee was served by the cup at Bodhi Tree Guesthouse & Studio, Tavolino Italian Restaurant, Starting Gates Bier Halle, Sweet G's Mini Donuts, and Donkey Coffee.
